Who likes playing dress up? I know plenty of people that don’t enjoy getting dressed for work each day and wish they had a Steve Jobs uniform. I find sheer joy in crafting outfits the night before and based on the day’s events.
This past week’s wardrobe was heavily influenced by a few really solid Target pieces I’d picked up over the weekend. Lots of items on the wild side and a little sprinkle of fall. My biggest workweek struggle is that it’s 90 degrees outside before I leave my house in the morning, but the office is at a frigid 72 degrees. I have to balance with layers to peel off and alternatively bundle up. My office is also verrrrrry t-shirt and jeans (or yoga pants) casual. I am one of the few that wakes up every day to put on lipstick and a jazzy outfit. Not only do I do that for me, but I often take an outfit from office to a night out.

I can’t promise that I can keep this up each week, but I will do my best to do it once a month. I’ll try and make it my most fashionably inspired week 😉
