A few years ago, I was browsing through an issue of The Book at Neiman Marcus and I stumbled upon a “Full Disclosure” interview with Pharrell. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to replicate it for myself. I figured it’s time for a refresher and a more detailed version that the previous time I answered these questions.
You’re penning an autobiography. The title?
Eat, Drink, and be Sassy.
Era other than the present that you find the most fascinating?
I am most fascinated about what the future holds. Will it be just like The Jetsons?
Your style in three words?
Chic, Vibrant, and Romantic.
If not your current occupation, one you’d like to try?
I would love to be involved with winemaking.

The teacher who most influenced your life?
Dr. Pedro Pequeño. He is easily one of my favorite humans ever. Professor, mentor, friend…he made my time at Rollins unforgettable.

I wouldn’t mind raiding Beyoncé’s closet.
Accessory or item of clothing that holds the most sentimental value?
My most beloved rings are both from my Papi. I wear his gold wedding band paired with a gold three-stone ring. Madre and I picked out that ring in Cali for our last 🎄 Christmas together. I wear them always ❤️ #IMTF

I wish I had any sort of musical talent. I’ll stick to shower and car karaoke!

Losing someone near and dear.

Probably hat I’ve lived in Florida for damn near 20 years. I will forever be Texan.

Earliest fashion memory?
I would stalk the dryer for a specific outfit – a polka dot shirt and striped leggings. Wash and repeat. That was Baby Sass’ uniform.

Reba McEntire at The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo in the early 90’s.

Good Will Hunting. I just caught it on HBO last week. How do you like them apples?

Maya Hayuk‘s ‘Women of the Walls’ 2013 mural in Wynwood. It’s since been replaced but I love the colors.

Lip gloss! You will never find me without a lippie – EVER.

Lola always managed to make friends and find food on her many adventures. She was a handful but she was certainly the BEST.
