Birchbox Sampling
There was a very brief moment in 2012 when I had a Birchbox subscription. As much as I love getting snail mail, it just wasn’t meant to be. I was seriously disappointed with the sampling of items I received month after month that seemed unrelated to the product survey I initially took. After rifling through a bunch of duds, there is one total GEM 💎 that I came across was the Earthen InstantPeel. I mentioned it briefly in The Beauty of Peeling post but let me elaborate for you now…
What is it?
InstantPeel comes in a box of 6 exfoliating packets. Each packet contains natural enzymes and proteins to slough away dead skin gradually.
How to Use It
For the past week, every time I went to even put on moisturizer I noticed flaky skin. It was time for an InstantPeel! I always use them in the shower, letting my skin steam for a good 2-5 minutes. I’ll pour a little bit of the milky peel and start lightly massaging against my face and feel the dead skin just slide right of. There comes a point when the peel will stop and all you feel is super slick skin. It’s magic!
There is a good amount of peel in the packet so don’t be shy about treating your neck and décolletage. Since you can use it anywhere on your body, reviewers have even used it on their feet!
