what’s in my bag?

Do y’all remember magazines? You know, the glossy things that are at the checkout line at Publix above the candy bars. I have always loved US Weekly’s What’s In My Bag? articles where they dump a celeb’s bag and share the contents. Here’s a look at what’s in Sass’ bag!

Lippie du Jour

Sassy’s Holy Lipstick Trinity: a nude, berry, and red. My go-to nude lipstick is a satin finish with sheer coverage by Giorgio Armani Beauty Rouge Ecstasy – Brown 202 Milano. The berry is a deep scarlet glossy stain by Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick in Braised. The red is an orange-red matte lippie from Kevyn Aucoin in Timeless so you care to dare to be bold or demure.

Listen Up!

It is no secret that I love audiobooks. And given the new iPhones require lightning cable headphones, I always keep EarPods in my bag. You never know when you’ll want to keep pumpin’ up the jams or listen to a podcast or audiobooks. I’ll happily roam around aimlessly in Target for an hour with my headphones in.

Too Cold to Hold

It does not matter how fancy the bag, a proper gal has a koozie. I’m kind enough to even have TWO drink sleeves so that my booze partner doesn’t have to suffer from a drink that’s too cold to hold. My girlfriend and resident MUA, Nikki, always brings me a souvenir koozie or just because. I have a pretty great collection – in the car, in each and every bag.

Zippy Wallet

When you have a tiny purse, you must have a tiny wallet. Just the essentials are in a key ring pouch. It has the keychain option to make sure you never lose your keys!

Sunnies

Sunny South Florida requires shades at all times. Ideally, I’ll wear sunglasses that can fit on my head or comfortably hooked into my shirt so I don’t have to worry about trying to stuff them in my bag.

What else is inside Sassy’s bag?

A silver iPhone X in a clear Lohasic case and Rose Gold Metallic Diamond PopSocket; car keys; a Kali organic tampon; a CHANEL long-lasting eyeliner in Ébène; a pen, an old grocery list and a theater stub for Waitress the Musical.

Ok confession time, I’m going to actually tell you how many lippies are in this tiny little crossbody. Remember, the Holy Trinity is always in there but as I change outfits a new lipstick will make its way into the bag!
