Let me rave about the one thing that nobody sees but certainly completes an outfit. Fragrance! I have a rather large fragrance wardrobe, thanks to my time in NM Beauty, and find pure joy in selecting a scent du jour. I tend to choose a perfume based on my outfit – light clothes paired with a fresh scent or a saucy number with a mysterious fragrance.

50 Shades of Beige. I love a white top – silk, cotton, whatever just GIMMIE. I lean heavily towards Chloé and Chanel Chance whenever dressed in shades of beige. My girlfriend Trish was sweet enough to elevate my Chlo-Chlo obsession with the latest Sephora exclusive and limited edition Chloé Absolu de Parfum for Christmas. My sister-in-law introduced me to Issey Miyake, and I always receive compliments when I wear it.
Saucy. A little bit flirty, a whole lot of fun! Marc Jacobs Lola has been a flirty favorite fragrance for many years. The whimsy of the bottle blends a modern free spirit with an irresistible attitude. My love affair with Tom Ford Private Blend came during my time at Neiman Marcus. Champaca Absolute is a scent that can dictate your mood and inspire you to take charge! HERMÈS has a great collection of fragrances, but Eau de Pamplemousse Rose is something unique. Without fail, every single time I wear it I end up recommending it to someone.
Feminine. I can still remember the day I bought my first fragrance at the Lord & Taylor in the Wellington Green Mall. Michael Kors Eau de Parfum will forever have a special place in my heart and on my vanity FOREVER. I gave Elia Saab Le Parfum Intense as a gift before I realized it that I loved it. Are you noticing a theme? It is intensely sublime. I had always been a fan of Marc Jacobs Daisy and my love great to appreciate the long-lasting EDP that my SIL.
Slay All Day. I am rarely ever really casual because you never quite know where the day may lead you. So why would that ever differ with my wardrobe and fragrance pairing? Are you surprised at all to see that Tom Ford makes yet another collection? Santal Blush is one of my favorite Private Blend scents. It reminds me of my favorite cocktail – Crown Royal & Ginger Ale. Jo Malone Cologne is undoubtedly unisex and PomNoir (short for Pomegranate Noir) is my favorite in all variations – lotion, bath oil, room spray, candle – YOU NAME IT. Givenchy Dahlia Noir is the perfect blend of feminine and mysterious scents.

I am passionate about fragrance and believe everyone should have the right scent to set the mood. Now, Tom Ford may be too strong for your liking or Marc Jacobs Daisy may smell like bug spray on your skin. The only way to find out is to try! I was fortunate enough to work with Mr. Ronnie Dean and there wasn’t a day he didn’t keep a smile plastered on my face. I am happy to share this little glimpse of what it’s like on the fragrance floor. I get it, you need a fragrance to mix with your body chemistry.
