• 100 happy days

“Whatever our individual troubles and challenges may be, it’s important to pause every now and then to appreciate all that we have, on every level.” — Shakti Gawain

Gratitude Day has been celebrated annually on this day since 1965. This day is dedicated to reflecting on all the things, big or small, that we should be grateful for. I love seeking simple pleasures and a day like today is a great reminder to do just that. Tomorrow starts the 100-day countdown to New Year’s Eve. I want to close out the year and celebrate simple pleasures with the 100 Happy Days Challenge.

    The Challenge

I am no stranger to this challenge and I hope you will join me. Back in 2015, I celebrated each day with a post on Instagram and used the hashtag #sassyPOTD.  It’s no surprise that my top posts from that challenge highlight my nieces, #OOTD, and my fur monster.

    The basic rules:

    • Register on 100happydays.com
      • You can receive a set of prints at the end of the challenge
    • Select your preferred platform: Instagram / Facebook / Twitter / Tumblr / Email
      • Not into social media? My friend Rachel created an album on her phone and collected all images there.
    • Create a unique hashtag so you can look back on your photos
      • Follow mine #sassypotd to see future and previous posts
    • Set a calendar reminder
      • It will set the intention for the day… you’re on the hunt for happiness
    • Share your picture via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with a public hashtag #100happydays

You’ll be surprised at how easy it is to celebrate daily joys! It was a fun exercise to share with people. It also helps to keep us accountable when the gang is playing!

For the love of all things beauty, let’s talk about MASKS vs. PEELS. I love two things when it comes to skincare: eye creams + masks. Masks come in all different forms – sheet masks, clay… View Post
